Time... There is only ever one moment!! The moment you are living in right now. Everything else is either memory or fantasy. Look at what is right in front of you, right here, right now. Do you want something different or better? Well you only have a moment to act on it.... What would YOU attempt, if you knew you would not fail???

Moving on... I have, like most others, experienced great joy and great sadness. For those who have not... you are living with your eyes closed, not to mention your heart. I have 3 of the most wonderful reasons on earth to smile and be proud. Their names are Julie, Susan and David.  And they have given me a few more reasons to enjoy growing older... their names are Marissa, Jovian, Cam, Caden, Jaxon and Noah.

Passion... Life should be comletely filled with passion. Enjoy every single moment that God has given you. Take nothing for granted. What you think will be there forever, may not be. That includes your job, your health, those you love, and anything and everything else. I found this out the hard way. But I have survived. Life is like a roller coaster.... It has it's ups and downs.... and sometimes it makes you sick! But sometimes... oh my gosh... sometimes, it is absolutely Thrilling !!

I am a Capricorn. It is said that Capricorns tend to be old when they are young, and young when they are old. We are unsung heros and undiscovered geniuses.... and an unknown quantity. No matter how bright the light inside us shines, we will always find a bushel basket big enough to hide it under. We want to be thought of as stable, steady and solid. We try our best to do what the world expects of us, to be a trooper -- a loyal, reliable, down-to-earth kind of character. In the attempt to give this impression, we strive to be modest, restrained and realistic. We almost succeed. Through diligent effort Capricorns manage to persuade ourselves and the rest of the watching world that we are a known quantity. Yet, deep down inside we yearn to be wild and crazy, footloose and fancy-free. We want to break the rules, question convention and court controversy. Only one thing stops us -- a little voice in the back of our head that says "Excuse me, who do you think you are? That's not the kind of activity that a Capricorn can get away with." If you want to be a true friend to a Capricorn... you must encourage them to ignore that voice. They will love you for it and they won't need much encouraging! Capricorns are born to be brillant. We are destined to be daring. One day we will realize this and then.... the world had better look out!

We have plenty of common sense and every project we undertake must have a logical purpose and a practical result. A pessimist may call a cup Half Empty, an optimist, Half Full. A Capricorn is a realist, and calls it 50% liquid, 50% air! This commitment to truth does not always endear us to others. We can be inexorably blunt about what we think and what we want! There are few problems that a Capricorn won't see a simple solution for. There are very few people who can pull the wool over our eyes. Nontheless, it CAN happen. We are emotionally vulnerable.

Okay, enough astrology... but, it seems that I'm fairly true to this description.
